What is Smart Paws?

Welcome to Smart Paws Mobile Dog Grooming.

My name is Diane and I am based in Surrey. I cover Tadworth, Kingswood, Ashtead, Leatherhead, Dorking and Reigate and, as the name suggests, I come to you in my fully equipped van.

All I need is enough space to park my Transit and to be able to connect to your electricity supply - I have my own 40ft cable.

It goes without saying that I love dogs, so I look forward to meeting you and, of course, your dog.

Questions and answers

What type of shampoos do you use?

I use organic, natural shampoos and conditioners. Natural products benefit the coat (and skin) as they add thickness and shine and are just generally healthier. Non-natural products often contain chemicals that can result in dry or itchy skin that can cause discomfort from your dog

How long does a groom typically take?

It really depends on the size of your dog and the condition of its coat, but a full groom can typically last from 2 to 2.5 hours. A double-coated dog, such as a Husky or a Bernese Mountain Dog, will take longer.

Will you come and pick up my dog?

My van is a fully fitted-out salon so I’ll groom your dog where I’ve parked (on your drive or as close to your house as possible).

What will you need from me??

I would need to connect to your electricity supply and I also might need to top up the water tank if it was running low.
